It started when I saw the pillowcases displayed on the hotel sofa in 2000 without any motifs and I knew that these pillowcases were not made locally in Indonesia, then I thought about how if I try to make pillowcases with special characteristics and materials and bring an Indonesian atmosphere and especially Bali where I live, I tried to go to the existing pillow shops and in the end, I found good and unique materials and fabrics that have high cultural values, namely the TUMANGGAL woven fabric.
Tumanggal woven fabric is woven fabric made from antique yarn. This antique thread is a thread that in ancient times was widely used as raw material for carrying labor fabrics, carrying fabrics were used by local Indonesian mothers when they wanted to take their babies on trips so there was no doubt about the strength, unique shape and pattern of this woven fabric. adds its aesthetic value.
In addition to tumanggal cloth, we also have fabrics with a mixture of woven fabrics from tumanggal and linen, there is also a tumanggal motif which has a small square-shaped fabric base on each surface of the fabric.
